Thinking of what area you like the most on Cape Cod and making the proper selection without having the luxury of living here and getting a better "feel" for the place and what you would like? The process is not as intimidating as you might think.
Relocation is not as hard as you think. The first thing to think about is how you want to go about this process. Do you want to sell then buy, or buy then sell? Keep in mind, it is very hard to make any sale or purchase subject to a purchase or sale. The best thing to do is get pre-approved for a mortgage and find a place to buy, then sell your other property. The other way is to do some of your homework, sell your property, then buy something quick.
Now it is time to think about where to move. Once you have decided on a general area, then start to look more closely at the individual towns. For this purpose use our Cape Cod Map. Pick one to three towns. Now decide what kind of property you are looking for. Do you want a house, land,
condo (i.g. Ocean Edge Resort), multi-family? What kind of place would you be happiest with? How many bedrooms do you need? How many bathrooms? How much can you afford? Remember to keep it general at this point. This is the point to sign up for my auto-update feature of the Multiple Listing Service that shows you all Cape Cod properties for sale. you will now be able to see what is available in the towns of your choice that meet your search criterion. If there is plenty to see, then we begin the process of narrowing down what we have. You will be emailed properties. Take a look at them and let me know what you think.
When we find a wonderful place to buy, then we begin the process of moving you here. This is also not a confusing process since you will have me to direct you and save time for you. Do you need movers, carpenters, plumbers, what ever it may be. I will point you in the right direction.
