Every year, thousands of people rush to Brewster to experience Brewster in Bloom weekend. The weekend kicks off on Friday, May 3rd and runs until Monday, May 6th. Here is your guide to the one and only Brewster in Bloom so you do not miss any of the fun!
- Leighton Realty will host an open house at our office on 2672 Main Street (Route 6A) from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, where you can win a free prize if you say the phrase “Brewster in Bloom!”
- Take a self-guided tour of the various antique and art galleries sprinkled throughout Brewster (galleries involved in the tour are marked in red on the program).
- Blue Jacket Studio is hosting an open house from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm complete with refreshments.
- There will be weaving demonstrations between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Tanzer Weaving Studio & Gallery located at 2623 Main Street.
- Both the Mews at Brewster Antiques and Handcraft House Gallery will host sales celebrating Brewster in Bloom. There will be 10% off at Handcraft House Gallery and 15% off purchases of $20 or more at Mews.
- The Brewster Ladies Library will host a plant lecture where pruning will be discussed from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm which will include an outdoor demonstration.
- There is a meet and great at Struna Galleries between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm with the author of “The Old Cape Series,” Barbara Eppich Struna and artist Timothy Jon Struna.
- The 45th anniversary celebration of the Brewster Senior Center Ice Cream and Cake Social will be held at the Brewster Senior Center at 1673 Main Street.
- Wingate at Brewster Place will hold its free and open to the public chowder festival from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Leighton Realty will sponsor the 26th annual Brewster Band Concert which will be held at 7:00 pm at the Brewster Baptist Church, kicking off their 2019 season. This event is free and the theme is “Swing into Spring – A Tribute to the Big Band Era.”

- The Brewster Ladies Library Association is hosting a spring breakfast for members of the library association from 8:30 am – 10:00 am
- Crocker Nurseries has a container garden at 10:00 am where you can find out for free how to create your very own container garden.
- From 10:00 am – 2:00 pm the Crosby Mansion will offer tours of the first and second floor of this impressive estate for guests.
- Kids Fest will take place in two locations from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Drummer Boy Park and the Laurel School.
- Cape Cod Sea Camps will host a juried arts and crafts event with 88 vendors from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Admission and parking are free, and there will be food vendors.
- By the Bay Designs located in the Lemon Tree Plaza will have artist Nancy Bellows available to sign her work in addition to up to 50% off of special merchandise in the store.
- Heart Pottery will have a “seconds” sale from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at their location on 1145 Main Street.
- Meet the animals, instructors and volunteers at Emerald Hollow Therapeutic Riding Center from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
- The Underground Art Gallery will host an open house where you can meet Karen North Wells, the resident artist from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Brewster Veterinary Clinic will have an open house from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
- There will be guided windmill and blacksmith shop tours at Windmill Village at Drummer Boy Park from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm by the Brewster Historical Society.
- Free admission to the Elijah Cobb House Museum from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm led by the Brewster Historical Society.
- Maplewood at Brewster will showcase the art created by its residents from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm where you can meet the artists.
- JT’s Seafood Restaurant will have a seafood tasting from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm where you can try their tasty chowder!
- From Gospel to Ragtime, there will be music for everyone at the Christian Science Society from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

- There will be a free concert at the Brewster Ladies Library from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm which will feature Out of Africa.
- The Mews at Brewster Antiques will continue their Brewster in Bloom sale where you will receive 15% off any purchase of $20 or more.
