October is filled with fun Cape Cod fall festivals & events for families to enjoy. Here is a list of the activities on the mid to lower Cape throughout the month of October for you and your family to enjoy and bring in this beautiful time of year!

The Farm Fall Fest

Location: The Farm 40 Rock Harbor Rd. Orleans, MA

Time: 9am – 4pm

Admission: Free

Details: Come and celebrate the season with live music, crafts and pumpkins!

 

Not So Scary Hayrides

Location: Tobey Farm: 352 Route 6A Dennis, MA

Time: Between 1pm – 4pm

Cape Cod Fall Festivals & Events at Taylor Bray Farm

Location: Taylor Bray Farm: 108 Bray Farm Rd N, Yarmouth Port, MA

Time: 10am – 4pm

Admission: Free

Details: Hay wagon ride, face painting, family friendly games, and a giant pumpkin raffle. Visit the animals and tour the Samuel Taylor Farmhouse. There will be refreshments such as hot dogs, apple cider, and apple cider donut holes. The rain date is 10/9.

 

Apple Pie Contest

Location: 1801 Jericho Historical Center: 90 Old Main Street, West Dennis, MA

Time: 12pm – 3pm

Admission: Free

Details: A panel of judges will judge who has the best apple pie. There are plenty of games, demonstrations, and even a treasure hunt for families to participate in.

 

Yarmouth Seaside Festival

Location: Joshua Sears Memorial Field: 1175 Route 28 & Wood Road, South Yarmouth, MA

Time: 10am – 5pm

Admission: Free (vendors/food/games/rides all at an additional cost)

Details: Three days of fun filled with live music, rides, games, vendors, a parade and a road race.

Haunted Forest

Location: Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Time: 5:30pm – 8pm

Admission: Adults (members) $9 / (non-members) $11 ; Children (members) $5 / (non-members) $7

Details: This event is geared for children 3-12 yearrs old, and you are welcome to wear your costumes. Take a stroll through the pine forest where you find interesting creatures at every turn. In the game room, there is face painting and games!
