More About the Barnstable Village’s Haunted and History Walking Tour: Hosted by the Cape and Islands Paranormal Research Society, the Barnstable Village Haunted and History Walking Tour is a very popular Cape Cod haunted tour. There are ten stops along the walk, eight with ghostly activity. The English had a strong presence in town, so there was plenty of conflict between the Patriots and the Loyalists. The end of the tour includes a tour of the old jailhouse that was built by the Massachusetts Bay Colony Courts in the 1690’s where a number of encounters have been experienced by tour guests.
