Halloween Candy Showdown
Location: Brewster Ladies Library (Brewster)
Date & Time: October 20th 2pm – 3pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: No tricks, just treats at this Cape Cod Halloween and Harvest Events! The Halloween Candy Showdown at the Brewster Ladies Library is fun for everyone! All ages are invited to sample different types of Halloween Candy and vote on what is their favorite.

Oktoberfest Chatham
Location: Kate Gould Park, downtown Chatham
Date & Time: October 20th 10:30am – 4:30pm
Cost: Free admission but there are food and assorted vendors with items for sale
Details about this Event: The Chatham Oktoberfest is sponsored by the Chatham Merchants Association and held at Kate Gould Park. There will be a beer trailer, food trucks and a variety of games for all ages to enjoy. Professional performers and musicians will liven up the party and keep it going into the early evening. Check out the Pumpkin People in the Park, which will be on display during this popular Chatham event.

Pick Your Own Tomatoes
Location: CapeAbilities Farm (Dennis)
Date & Time: October 20th 10am – 4pm
Cost: Free (Tomatoes are $2.75/lb instead of the usual $3.99/lb)
Details about this Event: This event is very popular, so the CapeAbilities Farm is requiring those that are going to attend to make a reservation. Reserve one free ticket per carload because the parking can be congested. This is the perfect time to load up on tomatoes so you can make your sauces and salsas for the season.

The Enchanted Forest
Location: Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary (Wellfleet)
Date & Time: October 26th 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Cost: $12 adults / $9 children ($10 adult members / $7 child member)
Details about this Event: For a night of not so scary Halloween fun, check out the Enchanted forest where a guide leads you through a trail lit by lanterns. Throughout the journey you will encounter a variety of creatures. This event is appropriate for children aged 3 and up. This is a fun Cape Cod Halloween and Harvest Events for everyone to enjoy which takes place in a beautiful setting.

Trunk or Treat at Brewster Baptist Church
Location: Brewster Baptist Church (Brewster)
Date & Time: October 27th 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: The Brewster Fire Department will make an appearance at this family friendly Trunk or Treat. Cars will be decorated and there is a playground for the kids to enjoy during this Cape Cod Halloween and Harvest events.

Orleans Halloween Sidewalk Stroll
Location: Orleans
Date & Time: October 27 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: The annual Orleans Halloween Sidewalk Stroll starts downtown Orleans (from 2:30 – 3:30pm), and then East Orleans (from 3:30-4:30pm). Children dress in their Halloween costumes and visit the merchants in downtown and East Orleans who will pass out candy and goodies. Local businesses participating in this stroll will be listed on a map, but it is usually easy to spot the locations that are involved in this event which is expected to bring 400 children to town.

2018 Barnstable Halloween Parade
Location: Barnstable County Courthouse Complex
Date & Time: October 27th 4pm – 6pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: At 4pm, gather on the lawn of the Barnstable County Courthouse to line up for the Halloween Parade that travels around the complex. After the parade, there will be a trunk or treat for kids to participate in.

Wicked Cool Autumn Welcome & Science Café
Location: Camp Greenough (Yamouthport)
Date & Time: October 27th 1pm – 5pm
Cost: $15/child
Details about this Event: Tickets are $15 per child, and all children are required to attend with an adult. There are a variety of autumn activities that are fun and interesting for the whole family. The entrance fee includes materials used in the activities. Some activities include archery, pumpkin carving and building a wooden project.

12th Annual Trunk or Treat Festival
Location: Wellfleet Drive-In Cinema parking lot (Route 6, Wellfleet)
Date & Time: October 31 4pm – 7pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: Admission is free, and included in your admission is a free hot dog and cider! This trunk or treat is open to families from the towns of Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham and Orleans. What is a trunk or treat? It is the opportunity for kids to safely trick or treat walking from car to car, collecting candy and goodies. Each trunk is decorated festively, making it fun for the whole family.

Halloween Safe Trick or Treat
Location: Main Street Hyannis
Date & Time: October 31st 4pm
Cost: Free
Details about this Event: Main Street in Hyannis is closed for the evening and opens up to trick or treaters to visit businesses up and down the road to do some safe trick or treating.

Chatham Turkey Trot
Location: Downtown Chatham behind the parking lot of the Chatham Orpheum Theater
Date & Time: November 22 Registration starts at 7am / Race begins at 8am
Cost: Adults: $20 plus a bag of non-perishable grocery items / Ages 12 and under: $5 plus two grocery items
Details about this Event: All the money and food that is collected at the Chatham Turkey Trot goes toward the Lower Cape Outreach Council. You can register for the Chatham Turkey Trot ahead of time, or on the day of the event.
