Brew Run
Town: Brewster
Date: August 12 at 4 pm
Race Length: 5.2 miles
Location: The Woodshed Bar / Brewster Chowder House on Route 6A
Details: The race starts at 4 pm sharp, and there are 5 official water stations along the route. Free cold beverages are available to participants, and there are restrooms along the route. Strollers are not allowed in the race. The Brewster Rescue Squad along with the Woodshed co-sponsor this run which benefits the Brewster Rescue Squad.
Cape Cod Outer Beach Run
Town: Wellfleet
Date: August 13 at 7 am
Race Length: 13.1 miles
Location: Along the Cape Cod National Seashore
Details: You may run as an individual in this race, or as a four person team. This scenic run takes place along the beautiful Cape Cod National Seashore.
Against the Tide
Town: Brewster
Date: August 19
Race Length: 5K or 10K
Location: Nickerson State Park
Details: Swim a mile, kayak 2 miles, walk 3 miles or you can choose to run either a 5K or 10K. You may participate in 1, 2 or 3 of these events if you choose to support the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC).
Isaac’s Run 5K
Town: Hyannis
Date: August 23 at 6:30 pm
Race Length: 5K
Location: Cape Cod Beer 1336 Phinneys Lane
Details: This 5K raises money for 4 year old Isaac, who is battling Acute Lymphoblastic. Every registration for runners 21 years and older includes their first beer after the race.
Five-0 5K
Town: Orleans
Date: September 2 at 9 am
Race Length: 5K
Location: The Jailhouse Tavern, 28 West Road
Details: The Orleans Police Department puts on the annual race which is made up of mostly flat terrain. It is a great way to finish up the summer on Labor Day weekend. This run benefits both the Orleans Police Relief Association and the Cape Cod Children’s Cove.
Labor Day Sunday 5K Road Race
Town: South Dennis
Date: September 3
Race Length: 5K
Location: Johnny Kelley Park, 168 Old Bass River Road
Details: Walkers as well as dog walkers are welcome to participate in the Labor Day Sunday 5K Road Race. Medals are awarded to the top female and male participants in four different categories.
Hyannis Sprint II Triathlon
Town: Hyannis
Date: September 9 at 7:30 am
Race Length: Swim 1/4 mile; Bike 10.2 miles; Run 3.6 miles
Location: Craigville Beach, Craigville Beach Road Centerville
Details: This triathlon will have an awards ceremony at 9:30 am the day of the race for participants.
Eastham Windmill Weekend 5K Road Race
Town: Eastham
Date: September 10 at 8 am
Race Length: 5K
Location: Race begins at the Eastham Library on Route 6
Details: This is the Windmill Weekend’s 40th year! Take in the beautiful sights Eastham has to offer, on this 5K. There is even a 1/2 mile kids run. The turnaround point (First Encounter Beach) is actually the first meeting place of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans.
Girly Girl P.A.R.T.S. 5K
Town: Centerville
Date: September 17 at 7:30 am
Race Length: 5K
Location: Craigville Beach, Craigville Beach Road Centerville
Details: The Girly Girl PARTS 5K is held in memory of Jill Di-Tommaso who battled ovarian cancer for 8 years before passing away from the disease. The 5K raises money to increase awareness of the disease. Last year, $124,000 was donated to Dana-Farber.
Healthy Parks, Healthy People 5K Run / Walk for Heart Health
Town: Eastham
Date: September 23 at 9 am

Location: Nauset Regional High School
Details: The Healthy Parks, Healthy People 5K Run / Walk for Heart Health is a program supported by Cape Cod Health Care and the National Seashore to promote health among seasonal and year round residents of Cape Cod as well as visitors.
Harwich Cranberry Half Marathon
Town: Harwich
Date: October 1 the 10Km starts at 11:30 am and the half marathon starts at 12 pm
Race Length: 10 Km and half marathon
Location: Monomoy Regional High School, 75 Oak St.
Details: The half marathon has a 3 hour time limit and the 10 Km has a strict 1.5 hour time limit to complete. There will be a post race get together with refreshments and music to celebrate!
Gut Check
Town: Brewster
Date: October 14
Race Length: For the sprint triathlon, the race has a 500 yard swim (for duathletes a challenging 2-mile trail run), 10 mile bike ride, finally there is a 3 mile trail run.
Location: Nickerson State Park, Route 6A
Details: This is a sprint triathlon and duathlon is a must for the athlete that wants to really push themselves. The Athlete’s Choice Awards has named this race one of the top races in the world to have on your bucket list.
Chatham in the Fall
Town: Chatham
Date: November 19
Race Length: 10K
Location: Monomoy Regional Middle School, 425 Crowell Road

Chatham Turkey Trot
Town: Chatham
Date: November 23 at 8 am
Race Length: 5K
Location: Chatham Orpheum Theater, Main Street
Details: The walk / run starts at 8 am, and all money and / or food raised by the Chatham Turkey Trot is given to the Lower Cape Outreach Council. For ages 13 – 113, the cost of registering is $20 plus a bag of non-perishable grocery items. For ages 0 – 12, the cost is $5 plus two grocery items.
