Spring is finally here and Cape Cod is starting to come out of its winter hibernation to celebrate this beautiful time of year and gear up for the summer fun! Farmers Markets are starting again, museums are opening up, lighthouse tours are starting around the Cape and there are springtime celebrations going on! Whether you are looking for a family friendly event to take your little ones such as an Easter Egg Hunt or a fun night on the town with your friends or love, there is a spring time event for you! Here is a list of some of the Cape Cod spring events & activities 2017 going on this season!
Daffodil Days at Spohr Garden

Details: Daffodil Days was first started in 2004, and has been a popular event for the community ever since. Come down to Spohr Gardens to see thousands of daffodils while having a fun filled family day. There will be face painting, ventriloquist guided tours and special events. On both days, there will be master gardeners available to answer your gardening questions. This is one of the Cape Cod Spring events & activities 2017 you can enjoy with your family or friends to take in the beauty of the season!
Heritage Museum & Garden Opens for Season

Details: Celebrate spring by visiting the Heritage Museum & Garden opening for the season and check out their new exhibit, Painted Landscape. Heritage Museum & Garden is the largest garden that is open to the public in the Southeastern part of Massachusetts. Brewster in Bloom

Details: Brewster in Bloom is a celebration of spring that lasts 3 days with a number of events that span the entire weekend throughout Brewster. It is one of the more popular Cape Cod Spring events and activities. There are activities that last throughout the weekend such as a self guided tour of arts and antique shops through Brewster, and a closest to the pin contest at the Captains Golf Course. Friday there is a spring concert at the Brewster Baptist Church which is free to the public, but accepts donations. On Saturday, there is a 5K Bloom Run down Route 6A and the Kidfest at Drummer Boy Park. Sunday there is a parade at 1pm, starting at Eddy Elementary School down to Swamp Road on Route 6A.
Wellfleet Drive-in Theater Opens for the Season

Details: A sign that summer is right around the corner for a lot of Cape Codders and visitors alike is the opening of the Wellfleet Drive-in! Remember that the drive-in only accepts cash to purchase tickets, but the snack bar does take credit cards. There is a playground located behind the snack bar for kids to enjoy before and in between shows.
Toast on Wheels
Where: Throughout the town of Harwich

Details: Take a trolley tasting tour of Harwich on the Toast on Wheels! Pick up the trolley at the Community Center, which will make stops at various restaurants and hot spots throughout Harwich. A fun night for all and a great way to enjoy your favorite restaurants and get a chance to try some spots you have not yet been to.
Chatham Municipal Airport Open House: Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Details: Chatham Municipal Airport will host an open house of the airport with the theme of the event being “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” Come and check out the airplanes and airport at this free and family friendly event. The rain date is Sunday, June 11th.
Spring Sheep Festival

Details: The Spring Sheep Festival brings a big crowd, as it is one of the more popular Cape Cod spring events and activities. There are hayrides, and a variety of demonstrations such as sheep sheering, wool spinning and wool dyeing. Kids love all of the baby lambs in addition to all of the other animals at the farm.
Cape Cod Baseball League Opening Day

Details: Let the summer games begin! Come to one of 10 ball fields across the Cape and see why the Cape Cod Baseball League games are a favorite to many Cape Codders and visitors alike. You never know when one of these talented players will make it to the big time, so it is a great opportunity to see some skilled players play for free and meet them after the game.
